CPREThe Surrey Branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) is a voice for everyone who wishes to save our countryside and open spaces. We work to defend the Green Belt and to ensure that development is kept within sustainable limits. We strive to protect our country lanes and protect the unique character of Surrey’s villages and towns.

Surrey is the most heavily wooded county in England and more than 70 per cent of its area is Green Belt. Yet now the pressure for development is threatening many of our remaining green spaces. The Surrey countryside will continue to be eroded by development unless we rally to its defence. That is why we are inviting you to explore our website, and if you agree with us, join the CPRE
